"A change up from a conventional Nanaimo Bar. I named this one after my stunning daughter!"
Ingredients :
- half cup butter
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- five tablespoons powdered chocolate drink blend
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
- 1 egg, beaten
- half (9 ounce) box whole-wheat crackers (including Triscuit Original®), overwhelmed
- 3/four cup unsweetened flaked coconut
- three tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- three tablespoons milk
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 teaspoon margarine

- Grease an eight-inch springform pan.
- Melt half of cup butter in a saucepan over low warmness; whisk white sugar and chocolate drink blend into butter till easy. Remove saucepan from warmth; whisk in 1 teaspoon vanilla and overwhelmed egg. Stir crushed crackers and coconut into chocolate combination. Press combination into the bottom of organized pan. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
- Beat 3 tablespoons butter and confectioners' sugar with an electric powered mixer in a bowl until clean; stir in milk and closing half of teaspoon vanilla. Spread icing mixture lightly over chocolate-cracker combination; refrigerate till set, about half-hour.
- Melt chocolate chips with margarine in a saucepan over low warmness; whisk until clean. Pour chocolate aggregate over icing layer; smooth with a spatula. Refrigerate bars until set, approximately 1 hour. Serve cold or at room temperature.
Notes :
- Use an eight-inch rectangular pan for squares or a 9-inch pan for thinner bars.
